Four Events - One Epic Day
Join Epilepsy Foundation New England and The Matty Fund in a series of events on October 25th to support all those affected by epilepsy in Rhode Island.
Hallow-Hunt-A-Thon • October 25 - 31st
Hallow-Hunt-A-Thon is an exciting week-long event leading up to Halloween filled with a Spooktacular mix of in-person and virtual events. Participate in our scavenger hunt set-up in local parks across New England. In addition, there are in-home daily challenges such as decorating a purple pumpkin, baking a Hope the Lion Cake, a costume contest, and more. You can even test your culinary skills at creating a keto dish in our cooking challenge. Families are welcome to participate at their own pace. Epilepsy Foundation New England is hosting the event for anyone who would like to participate. Registration is free, so sign up today.
Rhode Island Walk for Epilepsy • October 25th • Virtual
Create a team, share your story, and fundraise for the Matty Project so we can continue programs and services to all the individuals and families we serve each year. The virtual program can be streamed the day of the walk as you head out the door in and around your neighborhood. Hear inspiring stories from those living with epilepsy, great music, and more.
Matty 5K • October 25th • Virtual
The Matty 5K is a special event for Rhode Island. The Matty fund brings many programs to those diagnosed with epilepsy in Rhode Island. While we cant be in-person, join us on a virtual walk to raise awareness, build a sense of community, and fundraise for all of our friends and family affected by epilepsy.
Matty's Pumpkin Patch • October 25th • Slater Park, Pawtucket & Fort Adams, Newport
Matty's pumpkin patch is a yearly event held in conjunction with the Matty 5K. We will be handing out pumpkins at local parks to pick up while you participate in the Hallow-Hunt-A-Thon scavenger hunt. Take the pumpkins home an decorate for our purple pumpkin contest.
